Your Overden subscription

Understand your plan, trial, seats, and what happens if a workspace's billing lapses.

Every workspace has its own subscription, trial, and seat count — billing is per workspace, not per user. This page covers what an owner or admin needs to know day-to-day; it isn't part of the day-to-day operational workflow, but it affects when a workspace can be used.

Plans and trials

Every new workspace gets a 14-day free trial with no card required. Plans are Professional, Growth, and Scale, each with a seat limit; extra seats can be added for a small per-user fee. Pricing is shown in USD, and your checkout is automatically routed to the right payment provider for your country.

Managing your subscription

  1. 1

    Check your plan and history

Configuration → Billing shows your current plan and a full timeline of plan changes, locks, and payments.

  2. 2

    Add seats or upgrade

From the same screen, upgrade your plan or add seats as your team grows.

  3. 3

    Watch the renewal banner

If your trial or billing period is ending within 7 days, a banner appears across the app so nothing catches you by surprise.

If a workspace's billing lapses

If a trial ends or a payment fails, that workspace locks for everyone until an owner or admin resolves it — data isn't lost, and you can still get to the billing screen from the lock page to pay or upgrade. If you belong to other, unaffected workspaces, you can switch to them from the same lock screen.

Closing a workspace

If you stop needing a workspace entirely — a branch closes, or you were only trialling it — the workspace owner can delete it rather than just letting it sit locked and unpaid. This is a workspace-owner action, separate from cancelling a subscription; if you're not sure whether you want it gone for good, it's worth reaching out to Overden support first rather than deleting it yourself.

Example

Growing past your seat limit

You're on the Professional plan (5 seats) and hire a sixth technician. Rather than upgrading the whole plan, you add one extra seat from Configuration → Billing for a small monthly add-on, and the new technician can be invited immediately.
