Re-engagement & warranty follow-ups

Automatically surface customers whose warranty is ending, so follow-up work doesn't fall through the cracks.

Most recurring-service businesses do one-off jobs that carry a warranty — a pest treatment guaranteed for 30 days, for example. Re-engagement watches those warranty windows and surfaces the customer as a follow-up opportunity right when it's time to reach back out, instead of relying on someone remembering.

How it works

Completed one-off jobs with a warranty show up in Re-engagement (under Leads) grouped into buckets — due soon, due now, and overdue. A job won't appear if the customer already has an active contract, newer work booked, or an open lead — so you only see genuine gaps.

Working a follow-up

  1. 1

    Open Re-engagement

Go to Leads → Re-engagement and pick a bucket (due soon / due now / overdue).

  2. 2

    Create a lead

Click a job in the list to create a follow-up lead from it, pre-filled with the customer's details.

  3. 3

    Work it like any lead

It joins your normal pipeline — call the customer, quote a renewal, and convert to a new job or contract.

Automating it

In your re-engagement settings, you can turn on auto-create so a follow-up lead is generated automatically a set number of days before the warranty ends, instead of waiting for someone to check the list.

Example

Turning a warranty into a renewal

A one-off termite treatment carries a 90-day warranty. With auto-create set to 14 days, a follow-up lead appears in your pipeline two weeks before it expires. Your sales rep calls, offers an annual contract instead of another one-off, and the customer signs up — converting a warranty expiry into recurring revenue.
