Quotes
Send professional quotations, get them accepted, and turn an acceptance straight into a scheduled job.
Quotes let you put a price in front of a customer before doing the work, with a proper branded PDF. When a customer accepts, Overden Field can automatically create their customer record and even schedule the first job — so you don't have to re-enter anything.
Creating and sending a quote
- 1
Start a new quote
Quotes → New quote. Pick a template and the client, then continue to the editor.
- 2
Fill in the details
Add your line items and pricing in the document editor. Choose how tax applies: none, added on top, or already included in your prices.
- 3
Send it
Download or share the PDF with your customer.
- 4
Record the outcome
Mark the quote accepted or rejected (rejecting requires a short reason, so you keep a record of why).
What happens when a quote is accepted
Accepting a quote can automatically convert the associated lead into a customer, and optionally create a scheduled job for the quoted amount — so a won quote can go straight onto the dispatch board without any re-typing.
Templates and branding
Set up reusable quote templates (with your standard wording and line items) under Quotes → Templates, and your logo, letterhead, footer, and watermark once under Configuration → Documents — the same branding is shared with invoices.
The Quote Builder
The quote editor described above is the standard, document-style option — good for a straightforward wording-and-pricing quote. If you want something more visually designed, the Quote Builder is a separate block-based editor with four ready-made templates (Classic, Modern, Minimal, Corporate) to choose from.
Note — A Builder-mode quote can carry its own letterhead and footer, shown on every page of that one quote — separate from your workspace's shared quote/invoice branding, for the odd quote that needs its own look. It can even hide the template's default header if your custom letterhead already covers it.
Example: quote-to-job in one flow
Same-day quote and booking
A prospective customer calls asking for a price on a one-off deep clean. You build a quote from your "Deep Clean" template, send the PDF over WhatsApp, and they reply confirming. You mark the quote accepted with "create scheduled job" checked — a new customer record and a job on tomorrow's dispatch board are created for you in the same step.
