How it works

Buy from suppliers in practice

A purchase order starts as a draft, moves through the ordering process, and is marked received — with stock updating automatically once you process the receipt, rather than requiring a separate manual stock-in step. Supplier invoices attach to that purchase, and debit notes handle returns or corrections when something doesn't match what was ordered. Payments made to suppliers are tracked the same way customer payments are, so the office can see what's owed to each supplier alongside what customers owe the business, rather than tracking payables in a separate system. Because receiving stock and recording the supplier bill happen in the same flow, the inventory count and the accounting entry for that purchase stay aligned instead of getting entered twice or falling out of sync.
