Each record keeps address, tax, and contact details plus a unified activity timeline that pulls together every sale, purchase, and transaction tied to that party, so instead of searching invoices, purchase orders, and payments separately to answer where an account stands, it's one timeline. From that timeline you can drill down into any individual document — a specific invoice, purchase order, or payment — rather than the record being a dead-end summary. This matters most for businesses that both buy and sell with overlapping counterparties, like a trading business that's a customer to one supplier and a supplier to another.
